No, I'm not going to rattle off a few lines from Big Bear Butt or Need More Rage and make you guess which post it is. So, in my last post, I mentioned that Sharon and I are working to combine forces into a mega-blog juggernaut of death and mayhem. well, we've run into one small snag. We can't think of a name.
That's where you, my faithful readers, get to be used for our benefit! Did I say that out loud? Just post your ideas in the comments on this post, and one lucky winner will be chosen by a rabid squirrel(this guarantees randomness) to have named our blog! But wait, there's more! Okay, no, I lied, there isn't more.
So, our POV on this whole venture is twofold. We're coming from an angle of the jaded vet vs. the bright-eyed new player experiences and views of the game, and also the benefits and drawbacks of being in a relationship while playing the game together.
In all seriousness, we've been trying to come up with a name for the blog for the past two days, and we're just hitting a wall. we've come up with three names so far, but none of them really have quite what we're looking for; however, they should give you an idea of the type of name we're aiming for. Married to the Mobs(Sharon objects because we're not actually married yet), Love and Pwnage, and GuildMating.
Whoever does come up with a name we end up using will, of course, get full credit, as well as prominent linkage on the new site. Plus, you'd really be saving our creatively-challenged asses.

Just a quick(and somewhat drunken) note to let folks know. It is very likely that, in the near future, I will be moving to a self-hosted wordpress site, with a fairly dramatic change in format. Sharon and I are planning on combining forces and doing a blog from the point of view of WoW in terms of a relationship in which both people play it, and our differing viewpoints on it, with me being a jaded vet and her being new to the game. Watch this space for updates.

Been playing around with it, and found some amusing stuff. For starters, whoever out there is reading me from Fargo, North Dakota? You hit my blog more in the past month than I did. Sorry I couldn't update more often.
Apparently, Firefox is considered the browser of choice among the people reading my blog, because more than 75% of my hits came from Firefox.
I'm actually getting more hits from being on Phaelia's blogroll over at Resto4Life than I am from Entrecard, and BigBearButt is about to pass Entrecard for referrals.
And, finally, whoever came to my blog on their iPhone? You're my hero.

...into the wild blue yonder!
Dinged 68 last night, and immediately ported back to Moonglade to get flight form. Man, I am so happy to be flying again. I'm not sure why, because I'm the only one in our little group with it so far, but still. It feels like a big achievement, a milestone, and I'm there.
We did Ramparts a couple nights ago, and then Blood Furnace. We were all overlevel(68 lock, 67 druid rogue shaman, 65 pally healing) so I told the group if we wiped once they were all fired, and I'm pleased to say that they are all still gainfully employed by Dire Aquatic Form Conglomerate LLC. Got the pally some pimp new gear, and of course Ursol's Claw dropped for me, seeing as I'm ready to do Ring of Blood for my Staff of Beasts. A rather nice leather chest piece, Vest of Vengeance, dropped, and after messing with Sharon about us both greed rolling for it, I passed on it and she's wearing it now.
Also, it was brought to my attention that I have neglected to put a link to Sharon's blog in my blogroll. Bad druid, no cookie! That has been fixed as of two minutes from now.

Just a quick post, here, to let people know about an awesome resource for us WoW Bloggers: Blog Azeroth. I've been digging around there for just a little bit, and found some awesome tips on the various blogging platforms and general blog tips. My personal favorite so far? How to make your blogger blog more search engine friendly.

So, yeah, it's been a while since I updated. Certain circumstances have conspired to create this unfortunate situation(mainly being in class for work all week, and not being able to post from work). So, there's been a lot of stuff that's happened lately.
Ran Scholo with the lock, Sharon, a 70 hunter from my guild and the GM's pally alt. It was kind of a clusterfuck the first few rooms. We overaggroed, we got three to four pulls at a time, and we generally noobed it up all over the place. Then we got our shit together, and punched Scholomance in the face. Wiped on Kirtonos(did him towards the end because we were running out to do the spectral essence chain) but that was mainly due to miscommunication of AFKness. Went from just barely 57 to, like, 5 bars off.
Next night, me and Sharon hit 58, and stepped through the Dark Portal(dun dun dun). Had some fun running around Hellfire, but apparently I, in my glee, kind of overwhelmed Sharon with it all. I really need to remember to take the stuff slow with her, and introduce her to Outlands gently, instead of pushing her all over the place and overloading her with new info and whatnot.
Rolled Yesterday is Sharon's new WoW blog. Apparently, she saw all the fun I was having not updating my blog often enough and had to get in on the action. I secretly think she just wanted a place to post all her screenshots. But don't tell her I said that.
And then, last night, after scrimping and saving and selling leather left and right and maybe a little of my soul but who needs that I got my epic mount! Screenshot coming tonight, maybe, if I remember. I went with the Great White Kodo. I'm now rocking the Outlands at a 40% rate of speed increase. And Sharon got hers this morning, so we can zoom all over Outland together. Now we need to get the lock through his epic mount quest, and we'll be set.
What I'm really jazzed about, right now, is getting the chance to tank Outlands instances once more. I've gotten some pretty sweet upgrades from the quests in HFP, and half of my tanking set at this point is merged with my dps set, because the stuff was so awesome it upgraded items in both sets. Hoping we can run Ramparts at some point tonight, or maybe tomorrow, and then Blood Furnace shortly thereafter.
And, I've gotta say, this is my first time doing Outland horde-side, and I'm really digging it. It's like a totally new perspective on stuff I've already done. It's mostly the same rewards, and similar, but with different spins. And not in the way that WPL was different, but totally sucked Horde side. Can't wait to see how Zangarmarsh and Terrokar differ.
My major goals for the next week or so is to try and get my cooking up to 300(currently at 283, and oh my god I hate fishing), hit up Ramparts and Blood Furnace, and start recovering from the hemmorhage that was my epic mount purchase. At once point, after realizing I needed repairs, I couldn't afford to fly to Thrallmar from Shattrath, and had to fly to Falcon Watch instead, leaving me with a grand total of 50 copper. Man, that sucked out loud. Getting Sharon her flying mount is going to hurt(Druids FTW!).
Anyhow, that's about it for the recent past. Back to the work grind, I guess.

So, I know no one's actually reading this as of yet(google analytics can be a depressing thing) but I foudn the awesomest blog ever. Seriously. It's hilarious. Go, read. Need More Rage
Edit: Fixed the link, and apparently I suck, because I actually have developed a rather small readership that google analytics knows nothing about! I need to enable mail on comments. Or actually check my gmail account now and then.
